We would like to introduce you to WCA who have integrated iText 7 Community (AGPL) into their TNoodle project.
About the WCA and their TNoodle project
The WCA or World Cube Association is the governing body for competitions ‘twisty puzzles’ such as the Rubik's Cube. To ensure fairness, every solve done at a competition must start with a state randomly chosen by a computer. More info about the WCA.
TNoodle is the official scramble program of the WCA, all official competitions use the current version of the official scramble program, and TNoodle is used at hundreds of competitions a year. It generates high-quality scramble sequences for all the events of a competition at once.
How TNoodle applies iText
TNoodle uses iText to generate PDFs with instructions for how to scramble puzzles. These PDFs ultimately ensure a fair, fun, and competitive atmosphere.
